Al-Mutawa Pharmacies started in the early 1990s to establish a well-recognized leading retail pharmacy chain in Kuwait. We gained the community's trust and expanded our reach to more than 30 branches across Kuwait's governorates with a leadership position in managing 15 Cooperative Societies' Pharmacies. We are continually growing and opening more pharmacies at diverse locations across the country.

We differentiate our brand by ensuring that our local pharmacy chain has its own brand identity and customer-friendly store concept. 

Our pharmacies are represented by a team of dynamic, professional, and committed pharmacists and staff to fulfil our customers' health and wellbeing needs. 

We strive to always be up to date with all the current and new requirements and trends such as online shopping availability. To satisfy this need, we are available 24-hours a day, seven days a week and have established an e-commerce advanced platform via our website and applications on Google Play and Apple App Store.

To streamline our customers' and consumers' experience, keep our customers up to date and interactive, we are available on all major Social Media platforms. Our call centre is managed, and calls are attained by pharmacists who are ready to answer any inquiries regarding medical conditions, treatment, medicines, and other related services. (Following the conditions set by the Ministry of Health).

The Legacy

Since 1918

Al-Mutawa Group of Pharmacies is managed by Ali Abdulwahab Al Mutawa Commercial Co. K.S.C.C... Our 100-years' legacy comes with many firsts, which has given us the ability to set our cornerstones in many distribution and retail practices. 

 

We were one of the very first companies to supply and furnish Kuwait's first local Ministry of Health hospital, Al-Amiri Hospital. 

 

In the 1950s, we started our Pharma & Medical Business Unit by representing F. Hoffmann-La Roche as exclusive agent and distributor in Kuwait. Since then, we have continuously improved our operation, expertise, and representation to be well recognized as one of the leading Corporates in the Pharma domain in Kuwait
