Singulair is indicated in the treatment of asthma as add-on therapy in those patients with mild to moderate persistent asthma who are inadequately controlled on inhaled corticosteroids and in whom “as-needed” short-acting ß-agonists provide inadequate clinical control of asthma. About the product

Used in treating asthma as add-on therapy for patients with mild to moderate persistent asthma who are not adequately controlled on inhaled corticosteroids and in whom "as-needed" short-acting β-agonists do not provide sufficient clinical control of asthma.

How to use?SINGULAIR should be taken once a day in the evening. The following doses are recommended: For adults and adolescents aged 15 years old and above: one 10-mg tablet. For pediatric patients aged 6 to 14 years old : one 5-mg chewable tablet.
Ingredients
Each chewable tablet contains Montelukast Sodium which corresponds to 5mg of Montelukast. The other ingredients are: Mannitol (E 421), Microcrystalline Cellulose, Hyprolose (E 463), Red Ferric Oxide (E 172), Croscarmellose Sodium, Cherry Flavor, Aspartame (E 951), and Magnesium Stearate.
