About The Product

HydroTac Comfort sterile, single-use foam dressings with a gas-pemeable, waterproof and bacteria-resistant outer layer of polyurethane. The wound-facing surface of the dressing has a mesh structure and is impregnated with a hydrogel that acts as a moisture reservoir.
HydroTac Comfort has a protruding border coated with a polyacrylate adhesive, enabling it to adhere to the surrounding, intact skin.

It provides active, bi-functional moisture management in the micro-environment of the wound, with the hydrogel keeping the wound moist and preventing adhesion, and the foam layer absorbing and retaining exudate for lightly to moderately exuding wounds during the granulation and epithelialization phases of wound healing, even under compression. The outer, waterproof layer serves as a protective layer against bacteria and external contaminants. The device is suitable for both chronic and acute wounds.
