Product Description: Ozempic® (Semaglutide) is a once-weekly injection that is FDA approved for use by adults and is used along with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. To reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events such as a heart attack, stroke, or death in adults with type 2 diabetes with known heart disease. It is not known if Ozempic® can be used in people who have had pancreatitis. Ozempic® is not for use in people with type 1 diabetes. It is not known if Ozempic® is safe and effective for use in children under 18 years old.
How to use?
How to use: Semaglutide (Ozempic) injection comes as a solution (liquid) in a prefilled dosing pen to inject subcutaneously (under the skin). It is usually injected once a week without regard to meals, on the same day each week at any time of day. Your doctor will probably start you on a low dose of Ozempic and increase your dose after 4 weeks. Your doctor may increase your dose again after another 4 weeks based on your body's response to the medication. Ozempic can be injected into your upper arm, thigh, or stomach area. Change (rotate) the injection site with each injection. Allow the pen to warm to room temperature before injecting if the pen was stored in the refrigerator. Always look at the solution before you inject it. It should be clear, colorless, and free of particles.
