About the product

What olopatadine eye drop is used for: Olopatadine eye drop is a medicine for treating and controlling allergic conditions of the eye. It works in two different manners by reducing and controlling the intensity of the allergic reaction. Olopatadine eye drop is used for treating itchy eyes associated with seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. Allergic conjunctivitis means that some materials (allergens) like pollens, house dust, or animal fur may cause allergic reactions resulting in itching, redness, as well as swelling of the surface of your eye.

How to use?

"Do not use Olopatadine eye drops in children under the age of 16 years old. Usual dose in adults: 1 drop in each affected eye once a day. If you are using other eye drops, wait at least 5 minutes before putting in Olopatadine eye drops and the other eye drops. If you are using an eye ointment, you should apply it last. If you are wearing soft contact lenses, wait at least 15 minutes after instilling Olopatadine to insert soft contact lenses back into the eye. Follow these steps to put in your eye drops: Tilt your head back and look up. With one hand, pull your lower eyelid down and away from your eyeball; this makes a "pocket" for the drops. With the other hand, hold the eye drop bottle upside down with the tip just above the pocket. Squeeze the prescribed number of eye drops into the pocket. Close your eye for at least 1 minute."
