Product Description: • Physiotens contains an active substance called Moxonidine. • This active ingredient belongs to a group of medicines called 'Antihypertensives'. Physiotens is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). • It works by inhibiting nerve signals to the muscles in the blood vessels; this causes the blood vessels to relax and dilate. This helps in lowering your blood pressure.
How to use?
How to Use: The usual starting dose is 0.2 mg a day in the morning. Your doctor may increase this dose up to 0.6 mg a day. You should not take more than 0.4 mg as a single dose or more than 0.6 mg in any single day. The dose can be given as a single dose or divided into 2 doses. The dosage should be adjusted individually according to the patient's response. Your doctor may tell you to take a lower dose if you have kidney problems. You can take the tablets with or without food. Physiotens should not be given to children and adolescents under 18 years old.
