Plendil Tablets 5Mg 30 Tab
Plendil is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It contains the ingredient called Felodipine. It belongs to the group of drugs called "Calcium Channel Blockers" or "Calcium Antagonists". It relaxes your blood vessels, which lets your blood flow more easily and helps lower your blood pressure and reduce the workload of the heart. This helps prevent heart attacks and strokes. Not to be used by individuals under the age of 18 years old.
How to use?
How to use: The usual dose for adults is one 5 mg tablet in the morning. However, your doctor may start you on one 2.5 mg tablet and then may increase the dose to 10 mg. It should be taken on an empty stomach. If stomach upset occurs, felodipine may be taken with a light meal. Do not divide, crush, or chew the tablets. Plendil should not be taken with a meal rich in fat or carbohydrates. Avoid eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice while being treated with this medication.
